They will use the REACH app to contact eligible early voters as part of a nonpartisan Link Up the Vote effort!

Members of the Fort Bend County (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will read with elementary students at Hunters Glen Elementary School in Fort Bend ISD. Students will engage in enriching reading comprehension games that promote literacy in a fun way. Each student will receive books and supplies for their home library.

We are collaborating with the Voter Engagement Tour, led by Black Girls Politickin (BGP) in partnership with Powered by People and their campus/community partners. The Black Girls Politickin x Power by People HBCU Voter Engagement Tour brings together Black women leaders from across Texas for a series of conversations on leadership, civic power, and participation — hosted at four HBCU campuses in the lead-up to the 2026 election. Each stop combines candid, campus-style conversation with hands-on civic engagement: students can register to vote, learn what's on their ballot, and get equipped for Election Day.
