I bid you greetings on behalf of the Fort Bend County (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

We are one of 299 chapters across the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom committed to friendship and service towards others.

Our chapter was chartered in March of 1996 by 25 dynamic women with a vision.  Today, we are 48 members strong and work in our communities as doctors, lawyers, judges, politicians, professors, engineers, non-profit executives and more.

We are intentional about making an impact in the areas we serve by taking the lead in raising awareness to issues such as mental health and wellness, human trafficking, financial literacy, voter rights and empowerment, and the arts.

It is our constant quest to forge forward in the legacy of energy and enthusiasm of our charter members while sometimes even making history doing so.  We were proud to be the first African American women’s group to partner with Habitat for Humanity for a home build project in Richmond, Texas. We are very  passionate about children and youth and annually award scholarships to deserving high school seniors. We are proud sponsors of a NSBE Jr. Chapter to help encourage students to pursue careers in STEM.

We are extremely grateful to our friends, supporters and community partners who help us along our journey.

We look forward to serving our community even greater and sincerely hope that you will partner with us as we enhance the areas we serve.
